Raspberry Thumbprints

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam
Directions
  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Combine butter, sugar, almond extract and flour in mixer bowl.
  • 3. Mix until well blended and forms a ball.
  • 4. Roll into 3/4" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 5. Make an indentation in top of each cookie and fill with 1/2 teaspoon jam.
  • 6. Bake 10 minutes. Edges of cookies will be very lightly browned.
  • 7. Let stand on cookie sheet one minute before removing.
