Taco Platter Dip

Ingredients
  • 1 10 ounce can or 16 ounce can bean dip or refried beans
  • 3/4 cup guacamole
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup tomato, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, chopped
Directions
  • 1. Spread bean dip or refried beans on 8" or 9" round tray.
  • 2. Spread mild guacamole on beans, leaving about 1/2" bean mixture showing around edge.
  • 3. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise an taco seasoning. Spread gently over guacamole, leaving edge of guacamole showing.
  • 4. Sprinkle shredded cheese on sour cream mixture.
  • 5. Top with olives, tomatoes and green onions.
  • 6. Refrigerate. Serve with tortilla chips or corn chips.

Mild Guacamole
Ingredients
  • 2 very ripe avocados
  • 2 teaspoons lime or lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
Directions
  • 1. Slice avocados lengthwise, twist and remove pit.
  • 2. Peel avocados and cut into pieces. Thoroughly mash with fork.
  • 3. Add juice and salt. Mix well and refrigerate.
