• 2 flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • Choice of other ingredients
  • 1. In skillet, heat 2 teaspoons butter or oil over medium heat.
  • 2. Spread butter or oil over one side of one tortilla.
  • 3. Place unbuttered tortilla in skillet on hot oil. Sprinkle cheese over top, plus other ingredients of choice.
  • 4. Top with buttered tortilla, butter side up. When cheese is melted, flip over and brown on other side.
  • 5. Slice in wedges and serve warm.
  • 6. Choice of ingredients can be used to garnish top. *
  • Serves 2

* salsa, diced tomato, chopped avocado, thin sliced mango, chopped green onion, diced precooked meat, or sour cream.

Note: When adding ingredients, dice or slice very thin and add only small amounts. Quesadilla will not melt together well if too many ingredients are added inside.
